Neargrid ensures a stable power supply on your construction site, even if the grid fails. When the grid fails, Neargrid automatically switches to UPS mode. The battery immediately takes over the entire power supply without any dip or interruption. Your machines continue to run and your construction site does not notice that the grid is down. During the grid interruption, the battery provides several hours of autonomy. Site management automatically receives notifications about battery level and status, while our remote team monitors all parameters. This creates a safe time window in which the grid failure can be resolved without impacting the construction site. In short: you don't need a backup. Neargrid guarantees power at all times, continuity at all times, and complete peace of mind.

Depending on the version you choose, several other outputs are available on the system. This is in the form of CEE wall outlets 32 or 63 A. To these, other consumers such as drainage pumps, chain park, lighting and other tools can be connected without any problem. The system forms a smart microgrid that provides both your tower cranes and all additional consumers with stable and safe power. Thanks to the integrated protection and UPS mode, all consumers continue to work, even in the event of peak currents or a grid failure.One system, one connection point, complete power security on the entire construction site.

Even without a grid connection, Neargrid can be deployed without any problems.
In this case, an alternative energy source, such as solar panels or a small hydrogen or diesel-powered generator, powers the system. Neargrid turns that source into a stable microgrid that absorbs all peak currents. For tower cranes, a compact generator of about 60 kVA is already sufficient to keep three cranes fully operational via Neargrid Boost. The generator runs on base supply only, while Neargrid provides the peak power. Less consumption, less noise, maximum operational reliability.

Yes. Neargrid is designed completely plug-and-play, precisely to take the worry out of site managers. Our systems function like a mobile substation: all electrical protections, connections and settings are pre-integrated. As a result, any site manager can start using the system safely and quickly, without specialized knowledge, intuitively.
