Near grid Solutions, based in Lokeren, is a leading scale-up specializing in the development of innovative battery systems and other solutions to accelerate the energy transition in the building sector. With our advanced technologies we strive to provide sustainable and efficient energy solutions for our customers. We are looking for a driven Sales Representative to join our team.

At Neargrid, you will be part of a dynamic team operating in an international context. You will have the opportunity to participate in trade fairs and events both at home and abroad. This opportunity not only gives you the chance to represent our company on global stages, but also to make valuable contacts and expand your network.

As a Sales Representative at Near grid Solutions, you will be responsible for actively prospecting and conducting hardselling activities to introduce our innovative energy solutions to potential customers in the construction industry. With a strong focus on meeting sales targets, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and promoting the adoption of renewable energy solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting and Relationship Building:

     
  • Actively identify new business opportunities and potential customers in the construction industry.
  •  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

2. Sales activities:

     
  • Perform hard selling activities to present our battery systems and energy solutions to prospects.
  •  
  • Convince customers of the benefits of our products and services.

3. Customer Consulting and Solution Selling:

     
  • Advise customers on appropriate energy solutions based on their needs.
  •  
  • Responsible for closing deals and achieving sales goals.

4. Market research:

     
  • Keep abreast of market trends and conduct competitive analysis.
  •  
  • Report market information to management team.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a sales role.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity and interest in renewable energy solutions.
  • Excellent prospecting and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a great asset.
